Check valves 

Water flows one direction only!!

For use in Maintaining Water in the pipe for priming pumps and for changing pumps in skimmers etc.. (Helpful in keeping your waterfall filter from draining if you turn off your pump in the pond or in the skimmer.)

A check valve allows flow in one direction and automatically prevents back flow (reverse flow) when water in the line reverses direction.
